British Racing Group Maintenance Program

Lotus, Toniq, Rossion, Noble and other specialized, motorsport oriented manufactures provide exceptional driving experiences.  Unfortunately, the dealer experience and maintenance requirements can detract from an otherwise incredible vehicle ownership.  

British Racing Group was created to serve this niche of the market and provide an enhanced ownership experience through exceptional dealer service, social and motorsport event coordination and support. To that end, we have created the BRG Maintenance Program.

The BRG Maintenance Program offers the enthusiast owner a comprehensive maintenance, service and roadside assistance option not available anywhere else.  It is designed to provide you with peace-of-mind when operating your vehicle.  There are 3 annually renewable levels to choose from; Touring, Club Sport and Competition.  Program features include:

Touring Program

1.    Concierge Service:  Central number to call to make BRG service appointments, place parts and accessory orders,  24/7 towing, event registration and rental car coordination.  

2.    Vehicle Inspection:  Annual comprehensive vehicle inspection of all major systems and assemblies with a generated report and consultation of the results.  Areas of inspection include:

3.    Parts and Accessory Discount:  10% discount on parts and accessories for the registered program vehicle during the term of the Contract.

4.    Oil Change Discount:  Sick of the $200+ oil changes at your dealer?  How about getting the exact same service with OEM parts for less than $70!  With the maintenance program you will receive UNLIMITED 50% off oil and filter changes: including drain and dispose of old engine oil, replace the engine oil filter and refill with fresh oil per manufacturer specifications.

5.    Winter Storage Discount: Discounted Storage Rate based on term of contract, vehicle, etc.  Please contact BRG for more details.

6.    Towing/ Roadside Assistance: A 24 hour, 7 day a week service for Maintenance Program Members, by calling our assistance line,  British Racing Group will send a trained operator and flatbed vehicle to your location, retrieve your vehicle and transport it back to our Fairfield N.J. Service facility.

7.    Professional Detail:  This isn't a simple wash.  This is a full 8 HOUR PROFESSIONAL DETAIL!  Gone are those nasty swirl marks and road tar.  Even light scratches will be memory.  This professional detail will be performed at YOUR chosen location (within 100 miles of our Fairfield location) or at our Service Facility.  This extensive detail includes:

Exterior

• Wash
• Wheel, wheel well, and tire cleaning
• Exterior window cleaning
• Bug and tar removal
• Dressing of exterior plastics, wheel well, tires, and vinyl
• Clay barring of exterior surface
• Machine applied one-step cleaner, polish, and sealant
• Application of pure sealant
• Finish polish application

Interior

• Vacuum
• Application of cockpit detailer

This service will be performed one time during the membership year as part of the Membership Package.

Touring Package Price:  $1,185

Club Sport Program

The Club Sport Program Level is ideal for individuals who currently or are interested in utilizing their vehicles for occasional track or autocross use.  Take the guess work out of getting your car preped for the track.  Leave it to our experts.  The Club Sport Program adds the following benefits to the Touring Program Level:

1.     Motorsport Inspection:  In accordance with Lotus Cars and the Lotus Challenge Series     guidelines and regulations, British Racing Group’s highly trained and motorsport experienced team members will provide an extensive pre-event inspection and report including:

Lubrication

• Check Accusump operation & engine oil level
• Transmission oil - check level
• Inspect engine & transmission for oil leaks
• Suggest oil change before driving event
• Verify oil cooler condition

Powertrain

• Inspect auxiliary drive belt condition
• Inspect integrity of fuel system
• Inspect condition of drive shaft gaiters
• Connect 'Lotus Scan' & check fault codes
• Check Exhaust System for Security and Leakage
• Check Fuel Tank Level
• Verify non obstructed throttle linkage and peddle movement

Cooling System

• Check coolant level

Braking System

• Inspect parking brake adjustment
• Inspect brake pad thickness. Renew at 4mm.
• Inspect brake disc condition
• Inspect brake hoses, pipes & hydraulic units
• Check brake fluid level. Verify flush within 2 months.
• Verify Brake pressure and no "bleed down" with applied pressure

Steering & Suspension

• Check steering column universal joints
• Check security and condition of front & rear suspension inc. free articulation of rear toe link ball joints
• Check rear hub nut torque (220 Nm) & renew split pin
• Inspect front and rear wheel bearings for play
• Record Damper Settings on Set Up Sheet

Wheels & Tires

• Inspect tire condition & set pressures
• Inspect wheels for damage
• Verify min 3/32 tread depth for wet conditions
• Check wheels for bent or cracked rims.
• Locking lug nuts or bolts must allow for proper tightening.

Safety

• Fire extinguisher; inspect charge condition & service (annual service verification).  Should be metal to metal application.
• Electric fire extinguisher (if fitted); arm prior to each track session
• Check wheel bolt torque (105 Nm)
• Check seat security
• Check harness latching & condition
• Check that any roll cage padding is secure & in good condition

Electrical

• Inspect operation of all lights (if fitted)
• Inspect electrical systems
• Inspect battery.  Verify tie down, clamps, leads and terminals.  Check charge.

Body

• Check security of access panels
• Clean & dry footwell floors & remove all cabin clutter
• Verify no chassis damage
• Check windows and glass for secure placement and free from cracks or delamination.

    
    Two (2) Motorsport Inspections are included in the Club Sport Membership per     membership year.

2.      Add-on to the Detail provided under the Touring Membership to include:  Racing Tape application and race-specific wax application to increase protection for the vehicle’s most vulnerable areas.

Competition Program

The Competition Program Level is ideal for individuals who are actively campaigning in a race series or whom participate regularly at motorsport driving events.  Reduce the expensies associated with campaigning your vehicle while ensuring the very best experienced motorsport service available.  The Competition Program adds the following benefits to the Club Sport Program Level:

1.    Race Level Concierge:  This upgrade to the standard service will address logistical concerns that face active motorsport participants.  This includes; hotel reservations, trip planning, competition vehicle logistics and series or provider event coordination.

2.  Additional Motorsport Inspections:  The two (2) Motorsport Inspections provided under the Club Sport Program increases to six (6).

3.  Second full detail with race prep is included


Package Price:  $3,695

PROGRAM NOTES:

1. Inspection Service will be provided one time during the membership year unless indicated.  This is not a state inspection and should not be considered a replacement or substitution for such.  2. Parts must be purchased and installed by British Racing Group or it’s subsidiaries or designated partners.  The discount does not apply to the Blackwatch Supercharger System, BOE TVS Supercharger System and Chase Cam Products.  British Racing Group reserves the right to exclude additional parts or accessories or modify availability based on vendor and market changes. The 10% discount will be shown on the parts invoice.  3.  Labor and parts discount will be shown on parts invoice. This service is provided for an unlimited number of Oil Change Services during the membership year.  It is only applicable to the vehicle registered for the Program.  The current standard oil change rate for a Lotus Elise or Exige which would be discounted 50% is $137.92 as of June 2010 and is subject to change without warning or notice.   4. Discounted Storage Rate based on term of contract, vehicle, etc.  Please contact BRG for more details. 5. Clients are entitled to one emergency road service call per contract per membership year without charge.  If additional events occur, the service is available at normal rates.  The vehicle will be transported from the pick-up location to the BRG Service Facility in Fairfield, New Jersey up to 100 miles one-way.  Additional mileage beyond our coverage area will be billed at the regular rates.   6.   While the inspection of a vehicle prior to competitive or motorsport use and the application of protective measures such as racing tape and additional wax reduce the incidents of damage to vehicles, this service does not constitute a guarantee, either state or implied, that the vehicle will not be damaged as a result of operation in such conditions.  British Racing Group, it’s affiliates and sub contractors, do not accept liability for any damage, assembly and/or mechanical failures that occur as a result of said use.  The vehicle owner and operator assume full responsibility for the operation of their vehicle regardless of venue or event. 7. Costs associated with the concierge service such as hotel accommodations, vehicle transportation charges, meals etc are the responsibility of the member and shall not be paid for by British Racing Group, LLC.

Special Terms:  

Total cost of program is as stated above (plus applicable sales tax) payable at time of signing.
The contract applies to one (1) vehicle per program. Program year anniversary date starts when British Racing Group, L.L.C. (BRG) receives the application form/contract and payment in full for the selected program.
